| Keith Elijah Fasciani is a native New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx.
He studied theater in middle school with acting coach Ann Ratray. He was accepted to Fiorello H. Laguardia High School for Music and Art and the Performing Arts, also known as the “Fame” school, as a theater major.
He placed second in the country-wide arts competition held by the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts, or NFAA. Keith was awarded the Isabel Stevenson Theater Wing Award for excellence in acting, and he was accepted to the College of Fine Arts at Boston University.
At B.U. he studied Linklater voice technique, classical theater, Biomechanics, stage combat, ballroom dance among other disciplines. Keith spent a semester at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts in England. There he explored restoration theater and clowning while continuing to hone his performance technique. In his last year at Boston University, Keith was cast as ‘Dippy’ in the Huntington Theatre Company’s production of “Dead End,” directed by Nicholas Martin. He was also appointed Fight Captain for the duration of the run.
Keith toured an original production of “Hunger Dreams” in Boston and Brooklyn. He has appeared in many performances in Manhattan. He originated the role of Mick, in Brian Dyksta’s politically charged “Mick Just Shrugs” published in Plays and Playwrights 2005. He is well-versed in elevated text, having recently played Benvolio in Shakespeare in the Parking Lot’s Romeo and Juliet, and Malcolm in the Hudson Warehouse’s Macbeth. His film work includes the war-time drama “Jacksonville”, independent shorts, NYU graduate projects and a public service announcement commercial.
